When Peritas first came to us… well, they weren’t called Peritas, for starters! In fact, they were a very different engineering company to who they are today. Over the course of several years, they’ve grown to become a major industry player, and we’ve been lucky enough to share the journey with them.
In the beginning, Peritas were a young bunch of civil and structural engineers with an outside the box approach to their work. Full of passion and brimming with talent, they were more than capable of tackling some of the nation’s biggest engineering projects. Only trouble was, they kept getting overlooked. They kept missing out on the tenders they wanted. We needed to freshen up their brand and sharpen up their image to express their incredible skills and unique way of thinking.
How we got there
Peritas underwent a full transformation with our branding team, Luminosity. We devised their company name – which is derived from the Latin word for ‘expert’ – and created a striking brand identity. Using a bright shade of lime green, we designed a square-shaped brand mark to represent the Peritas way of thinking.
The next step was to apply the look and feel to the website, both in terms of the functionality and the design of the site. Once everything was in place, Peritas got the boost they were looking for. Before long, new contracts started flooding in. In fact, they doubled their turnover within the first year.
As time went by, Peritas built themselves a reputation as innovative leaders in Australian engineering. They came back to us to adapt their website in line with their growth. This time around their digital presence had to demonstrate industry strength and the completion of a broad scope of projects. They were also looking to build their internal company culture and attract new staff, so the website also had to acknowledge how they value their team members. The updates to their website included the addition of professional photography to illustrate 34 of their projects and their staff in action.
