Flower blossomed from a single retail store in Perth to a nationally recognised brand. It is the realisation of its founder’s dream of creating stylish yet easy-to-wear garments that capture the essence of the Australian woman. To enhance the brand and reach more customers Flower needed to revamp its online channel, which was unappealing and clunky.
After extensive consultation with the client it was agreed that Flower’s new eCommerce website had to both reflect the brand values and to make the make the interface inviting and functional for users of all ages.
Taking inspiration from mobile applications we created a UI that is both sophisticated and intuitive. We also developed the site in Magento (the gold-standard of eCommerce content management systems) whilst maintaining integration with the current point-of-sale system. This means the pricing and stock values would sync in real-time across all stores nationwide. The result is a site that’s both brand enhancing – it’s as elegant as Flower’s own offerings – as well as a functioning online store.
“From our very first meeting with Chris and Kate we quickly agreed on the direction for the new website. We wanted to create something that was both visually appealing, drawing attention to the quality of the merchandise and cutting edge in terms of UX.” Sam Logan (Lead Developer)
BirdBrain did an excellent job of developing our website. The price was competitive and they were good listeners, but it was a sense of really wanting to get it right that most impressed us.Chris Hoffman, Managing Director
